Ann Marchand is known for her monumental paintings. Occasionally, however, she may become obsessed with an element or idea in her work which can be best expressed in a small work. This series of works, titled, “Bijou” are intimate and elegantly worked paintings skilfully created on paper on birch wood panels, and like her larger work, inspired by the energy of the transformative universe.
